Community Events

The Blue Mountains Pipe Band has a long history of supporting local community events. Our annual grant from the Blue Mountains City Council is testament to the level of involvement we have in the local community.

The band is available to perform at a wide variety of community and cultural events, including fundraising events for charities. We attend every event in traditional dress with impeccable attention to detail and presentation, and our experienced members will ensure that our performance is tailored to suit your needs. We are able to provide solo or duet pipers, mini bands or full band performances.

The Blue Mountains Pipe Band also enjoys strong relationships with several other Pipe Bands throughout the state, and we are active in supporting them at their own community events. Our annual participation in the Cudal Show by invitation of Canobolas Pipe Band has led to strong ties and continued interaction with that region, and we are in the planning stages of establishing several more arrangements of this type throughout country areas. We welcome invitations to travel outside the Blue Mountains, to spread the culture of Pipe Bands and to forge new friendships with other Pipe Bands and their communities.
